Muharraq STP and flow conveyance

Hyder Consulting Middle East appointed Donaldson Associates as specialist tunnel designer for the Sewage Treatment Plant and Sewer Conveyance System on the island of Muharraq, Bahrain.

The scheme, to be constructed by Samsung Engineering, will serve existing areas and future developments on land reclamation projects off the East Coast of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The project comprises the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and related facilities; the construction of a Sewer Trunk Main; and the waste water connections for 24 existing wastewater pumping stations, to the Sewer Trunk Main.
