Tunnel Engineering by Donaldson Associates

Through our work with the National Grid Company plc, Donaldson Associates has completed the inspection, assessment and design of civil and M & E remedial works on a number of cable tunnels containing live HV cables of up to 400 kV. This is combined with our work on new cable tunnels such as a recently completed project under London. Our staff, many trained to operate next to live cables, are fully cognisant of the risks involved on such works and the requirements of mechanical and electrical equipment and the cables themselves.
